For Potential New Residents

The Seminary Ridge neighborhood is a great place to live! Residents enjoy the convenience of being centrally located in the Capital City, only a short distance from many of Columbia’s great attractions.

Our community has an active neighborhood association that sponsors activities, events and improvement projects throughout the year.

Many singles, couples, young adults, established professionals and retirees call Seminary Ridge home and you can often find people meeting neighbors as they walk or jog the tree-lined streets.

With historic homes occupying the Seminary Ridge Architectural Conservation District, older homes, and new construction, the Seminary Ridge area offers a variety of housing selections and financial benefits.

To learn if the home you are considering is part of the Seminary Ridge Architectural Conservation District you can contact Doreen Roy with the City of Columbia Planning Department at (803) 545-3216 or DKRoy@columbiasc.net. To view the homes on a map or read the SRACD guidelines please click here.
